AFFA has a stimulating variety of events that include expert speakers, exhibitions, folk artist demos and hands-on activities, a holiday party with silent auction, excursions, and longer trips in the U.S. and abroad.

The calendar follows the academic year and summer tends to be low-key with a couple of movie nights that give us a view of other cultures and a chance to get to know each other in the setting of members' homes.
